All transcripts must be sent directly to Greenhill by the current school. All teacher evaluations must be sent directly to Greenhill by the applicant's current teachers. The Admission Office will not accept forms sent by parents. It is the family's responsibility to see that Greenhill receives the evaluations before the deadline.

Step III: Testing - Complete ISEE testing by February 2, 2008.

Students testing for grades 5 - 12 register for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). ISEE testing must be completed by February 2, 2008. You may register for the ISEE at www.iseetest.org. Greenhill participates in a testing consortium with Dallas area independent schools. Students testing for grades 5 – 12 only have to take the entrance exam at one of the schools listed in the ISEE Student Guide. Test results will be released to any of the member schools. There are both middle and upper school versions of the test. Results will be mailed to you and to the schools you designate on the registration form directly from the Educational Records Bureau (ERB). To register for the ISEE, complete the registration form found in the middle of the Student Guide included in your application packet. This registration form, along with the required test fee, needs to be sent directly to ERB. You must register for the ISEE at least three weeks prior to the test date. ERB charges additional fees for late registration and for telephone registration. For assistance in registering for the ISEE, you may call 800-446-0320. (All ISEE fees are in addition to Greenhill's application fee.)

Step IV: Required Student Interview and Optional Visit Day.

An interview is required of all students applying to Grades 5 - 12 and is typically conducted during a full day visit. A full day visit is optional, but strongly encouraged. It is an opportunity for your child to attend the classes in the grade to which they are applying. Your child will be matched with a current student who will serve as his or her host during the day. Lunch will also be provided. Please note in most cases, this visit is an unexcused absence from your child’s current school. Upon receipt of your Student Visit/Student Interview Registration, you will receive a letter confirming your child’s visit date. A member of the Admission Office will contact you if we are unable to accommodate your choices, as availability is subject to change. Visit dates will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Should you choose not to schedule a visit, a member of the Admission Office will contact you to schedule an interview date. If you live outside of the Dallas area, a telephone interview can be arranged.

Step V: Admission Decisions

Decision letters will be mailed on March 14, 2008, to those applicants meeting the above deadlines. All applications received after the January 11, 2008, deadline will be reviewed on a rolling admission basis.
