General Endowment Funds
Challenge of Excellence General
Endowment
Established through Greenhill's 1978-79 capital campaign, funds go to Greenhill's
general endowment.
Phillip G. Foote General Endowment
Established in 2003 upon the retirement of Phil Foote who served as Greenhill’s
second Head of School from 1976-1992. The funds support Greenhill’s general endowment.
Joanne and Charles Teichman
Endowment
Established in 2002 by Joanne and Charles Teichman in honor of Alysa Teichman ’05.
The funds go to Greenhill’s general endowment, with a portion to provide support
for Journalism/Communications studies and activities.

Financial Aid Funds
Ruth Agnich Scholarship Fund
Established in 1975 in
memory of Ruth Agnich, mother of William '61 and grandmother of Robert '94, Bruce
'87 and Barbara, to provide support for Greenhill's financial-aid program.
Michael L. & Carol B.
Davis Scholarship Fund
Established by Michael ’84 and Carol Davis in 2004 to support economically disadvantaged students of color.
Preference is given to students who are members of the Boys and Girls Club program,
if possible. Students must have at least a “B” average to receive the award which
is targeted for, but not limited to, Upper School students.

Baldwin Scholarship
Established through Greenhill's
1978-79 capital campaign in honor of Agnes Baldwin, founder of Greenhill's Preschool,
to support financial aid.

Fund
Established through Greenhill's
1978-79 capital campaign to support financial aid.
Jacob Earle Scholarship Fund
Established in 1995 in
memory of Jacob Earle, Upper School student, to support financial aid.
Ronnie Freeman Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1954 in
memory of Middle School student Ronnie Freeman. The Ronnie Freeman award is
given annually to the outstanding Middle School boy and girl. The fund supports
financial aid.
Bernard Fulton Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1976 by
contributions given in honor of founding Headmaster Bernard Fulton when he retired. The fund supports scholarships for deserving students.
Morris Jaffe Scholarship Fund
Established in 1980 in
memory of the father of David Jaffe '71.
Jane and Wes Kittleman Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1983 by
the Jerry Trim family to provide a scholarship for an Upper School student. The fund honors Wes Kittleman who taught at Greenhill for twenty-two years, and
his wife, Jane, who taught here for thirteen years.
David Warren Leatherbury Scholarship
Fund
Established in 2002 by Pat Villareal and Tom Leatherbury
(Chairman of the Board 2000-2002) in honor of Scott Griggs, Greenhill School’s fourth
Head of School.
Jennifer Goodnight Maalouf
Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 in
memory of Jennifer Goodnight Maalouf '86 who was killed in an automobile accident.
Guy Morgan Scholarship Fund
Established in 1977 in
memory of Guy Morgan '75 who was killed in an automobile accident.
Edward C. Reed Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1977.
Harold and Mae Star Scholarship
Fund
A bequest from Mrs. Harold
Star, Sr. in 1973 led to the creation of this fund which supports scholarships for
Middle School students. Mrs. Star was the grandmother of Harold Star III '70
and Meri-Kay Star '73.
Kathy Wells Memorial Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1993 in
memory of Kathy Wells, a Greenhill teacher who died of cancer. Funds support
a scholarship for a returning Greenhill Lower School student.

Cultural Arts Funds
Ken and Becky Bruder Cultural Arts
Fund
Established in 1998 By Ken and Becky Bruder, parents of Anne '04 and Molly '07,
in honor of Jeff Pritchard and Kitty Smith, parents of Lauren '04 and Zachary
'06. The fund supports Greenhill's Cultural Arts program.
Muriel Seldin Endowment for the Arts
Established in 1993 in memory of Muriel Seldin, the School's first French teacher. The fund supports lectures and performances in the arts and humanities at Greenhill.

Fellowships and Awards
Scott Buchanan Memorial Scholarship
Fund
Established in 1982 in
memory of Scott Buchanan '90, son of faculty member Dr. Ray Buchanan and his wife
Carol. A monetary stipend from this fund accompanies the Service to Greenhill
Award given annually to a graduating senior.
Frankel/Thum Challenge of Excellence
Fund
Established in 1978 for
teacher enrichment by a gift from Gerald Frankel, trustee from 1976-1983 and father
of Jessica '85 and Elizabeth Bailenson '82, and Seymour Thum, trustee from 1978-1984
and father of Brian '80, Andrea '82, and Sharon '84.
Trustee Fellowship Grant Fund
Established in 1989, the fund provides faculty fellowship grants.

Athletic Center Maintenance Fund
Established in 1999 by proceeds from the Parents' Association Gala, the fund provides
support for maintenance of the Phillips Family Athletic Center.
Agnes Baldwin Art Center Fund
Established in 1990 in
memory of Agnes Baldwin, founder of Greenhill's Preschool, who died that year.
Educational Technology Fund
Established in 1999 to
provide continuous support for Greenhill's technology enhancements.
Edward E. Ford Technology Fund
Established in 2000 to
support upgrades and replacement of hardware and software for grades 9-12.
Bernard L. Fulton Lecture Endowment
Established in 1977 in honor of Greenhill's founding Headmaster Bernard Fulton.
Established in
2002 by Greenhill School’s Parents’ Association to support the School’s excellent
faculty.
Ann & Ray Perryman Archive
Fund
Established in 2000 in honor of Ray & Ann Perryman,
parents of Tom ’81, David ’83 and John ’86 Perryman to support research, acquisition,
cataloguing, and preservation of artifacts and documents to perpetuate and celebrate
Greenhill's history.
