Dear Greenhill Parents,

Welcome to Greenhill’s Extended Day. Starting our seventeenth year of service to the families of Greenhill School, we are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for your child to play – a place where play encourages children to make friends, to share thoughts and ideas, or to spend time with caring adults.

Over 200 children from Greenhill attended the Extended Day Program last year. While many of the children come because their parents are working, others enroll for the social aspects and interesting and enriching opportunities. Children in each of the programs may experience cooking, art, science, outdoor and indoor games, special culture projects, and have the opportunity to enroll in various “Special Interest Programs.”

We are fortunate to have our very own area for our Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade students. We share space with the Middle School to house our 5th – 8th grade students. More importantly, there are 12 warm and caring teachers and assistant teachers who are committed to taking care of your children. These professionals provide the highest quality child care for the students of Greenhill School by demonstrating enthusiasm, warmth and respect for children, parents and colleagues within a safe, relaxed and enriching environment.

For many children and their parents, we are the new “neighborhood.” Parents may choose programs from 1 to 5 days per week with fees depending on the number of days and length of time your child stays. All children must be enrolled in the program to attend and enrollment is limited. We are delighted to welcome your children to a new year. Thank you for sharing them with us.
