Hornets Come
From Behind Against Oakridge

A series of hitting errors
and suspect defense found the Hornets in a jam on Thursday
night at Oakridge. Combine that with an improved Oakridge
defense and two atrocious calls, and Greenhill's unblemished
game record in the North Zone seemed in jeapardy at 11-14.
Greenhill responded however, after a time-out with
aggressive serving, sharper passing and took game one 16-14.
The second game was never
close as the Hornets settled in an offensive groove and
outside/opposite hitters Mercedes Posey, Autumn Erickson and
Kim Briant put the match out of reach of the fired up Owls.
The Hornets will continue
North Zone play Saturday morning against Holland Hall at
11:30 after participating in the Komen Dallas Race for the
Cure at North Park Mall.
