shine in season opener

You couldn't ask for a better start to a
baseball season. As the lead-off batter in Greenhill's
season opener, senior Derek Adler kicked off the
Hornets' bid for the SPC Championship with a home run
against Lutheran High School on Monday night.
Senior Billy Powell earned
six RBIs, including a grand slam during the Hornets' home
game. Sophomore Kevin Kirksey started on the mound for
Greenhill, leading his squad to a 9-3 victory.
The Hornets will play host
to conference foe Fort Worth Country Day on Tuesday, March
6, at 4:15 p.m.
