open 2004 with win over Bishop Lynch

The
Greenhill boys varsity basketball team returned from a road
game at Bishop Lynch with a 48-44 win on Thursday night to
open the new year.
Senior
Jaron Smith scored 14 points to lead the charge for the
Hornets, while sophomore Hunter Leachman contributed 8 points
and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Michael Tobolowsky’s scored 13
points in the contest, as Greenhill went on to score 23
fourth-quarter points.
Greenhill will remain on the road against Fort Worth Trinity
Valley on January 13 to open SPC counter action, and will
travel to Tulsa Oklahoma on Jan. 16-17 to play Casady and
Holland Hall. The Hornets return home against All Saints on
Jan. 21, while the SPC championships are scheduled for Feb.
13-14 in Dallas.
