Greenhill 68            Guyer 52

This was a hard fought victory as the Hornets staved off Guyer's full court pressure defense.  Greenhill had it's best assist to turnover ratio (19:12) of the season in this game.  Parham Motaghedi was at the receiving end of many of the assists.  He led Greenhill with 20 points and 6 rebounds.  Hunter Leachman had 17 points and 6 rebounds, and M. Tobolowsky had 14 points and 7 rebounds.  Greenhill's point guards (Sandler and Z. Tobolowsky) combined for 8 assists and only 1 turnover.

Saturday, December 20 (7:30 p.m.) - FINALS

Greenhill 46            Liberty Christian 45

The Hornets were a step slow against a solid Liberty Christian squad in the first half and fell behind by 11 at the break.  The tide began to turn in the third quarter, but Liberty Christian still led by 7 at the end of three.  The Hornets tightened their defensive effort and two huge late three pointers by Zak Baron and one by Michael Tobolowsky captured the lead.  Greenhill held on as a halfcourt attempt by Liberty Christian at the buzzer fell short.  Tournament MVP honors went to Michael Tobolowsky; Hunter Leachman and Parham Motaghedi were all-tournament.
