Hornets falter, return home to take on Mavericks

The Greenhill varsity football team opened its 2004 campaign with two-straight wins, including an exciting overtime victory at home, but have fell victim to two straight conference road losses.

The Hornets will return home to host Houston St. John's on Brinkmann Field at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks hold a 4-1 season record, including a 24-21 loss to Houston Episcopal, and most recently, a 47-14 win over Fort Worth Country Day.
