Hornets rank as area statistic leaders


(09/15/08) Seniors football players Will Musselman and Sam Chortek lead the area private schools in passing and receiving, as reported by the Dallas Morning News. The Greenhill offense ranks second in the area, averaging 468 yards per game after three games.

At the top of the passing catagory, Musselman has tallied 1,096 yards through the air and 10 passing touchdowns (71-118-2). Musselman was also named honorable mention player of the week by the Morning News following Greenhill's 51-35 win against Oakridge to improve to 2-1 on the season. Chortek has recorded five touchdowns for the Hornets and has caught 23 passes for 462 yards, averaging more than 20 yards per catch.

Junior Foster Donnell ranks third in area receiving, with 19 catches for 290 yards and one touchdown. Junior David Zale also ranks in the top 10 in area receiving, with 18 catches for 238 yards and two touchdowns.
