Musselman leads the
nation at quarterback

Greenhill School quarterback Will Musselman finished the
2008 football season listed as the leading high school
quarterback by MaxPreps.com, averaging 374.5 yards per
game. In his 10-game senior campaign for the Hornets,
Musselman threw for 3,745 yards and 34 touchdowns. He
completed 265 passes out of 458 attempts, threw just 10
interceptions, and rushed for nine additional
touchdowns. Musselman’s single best performance this
season came against the St. Mark’s School of Texas on
Oct. 31, 2008, when he threw for 529 yards and six
touchdowns.
Musselman enjoyed
an arsenal of receivers during the season, including a
trio that tallied nearly 1,000 yards each. Senior Sam
Chortek caught 84 passes for 1,333 yards and 14
touchdowns. Junior Foster Donnell registered 65
receptions for 980 yards and 10 touchdowns, while junior
David Zale caught 61 passes for 923 yards and five
touchdowns.
