Coaching Staff:

Andrews,
Head Coach, Boys' Basketball
Coach Andrews was named head coach for
Greenhill's boys basketball program for the 2004-05 season.
He played Division I college basketball at Bucknell University
(1981-85) and professionally for two seasons: in the United
States Basketball League in 1985 and in the National
Basketball League of England for the 1986-87 season. The
Philadelphia 76ers drafted him in the seventh round of the
1985 NBA draft.
Coach Andrews broke into coaching in 1988 as
an assistant and junior varsity coach at Landon School
(Bethesda, Maryland) under current Greenhill Head of School,
Scott Griggs. He helped Coach Griggs rebuild the program, and
Landon would win two Interstate Athletic Conference
Championships (in 1991-92 under Griggs and in 1994-95 under
Andrews).
Coach
Andrews came to Greenhill in 2001 to teach eighth
grade mathematics and coach the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball
Team. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration from Bucknell (1985), Coach Andrews also has
a Master of Business Administration from the University of
Maryland (1994).
