Coaching Staff: Lisa Burton

Head Coach, Softball

Lisa Burton is the head coach for the Greenhill varsity softball program.  At Texas Woman’s University, she was a catcher and member of the National Championship Softball Team winning the College World Series in 1979.  The team was also the Regional Champions for two years and the State Champions for three.  Coach Burton has recently moved to Dallas from southern California where she conducted team camps and pitching/catching clinics. She took the Flintridge Preparatory High School softball team to the Southern California play-offs 15 times.

Coach Burton: “I feel athletics is an important extension of the academic curriculum.  At Greenhill, we realize the importance of commitment to achieve success at a high level of competition.  Self-confidence, respect, responsibility, and working together toward a goal are all positive results of participating on the softball team at Greenhill.”
