Curt Lowry
joined the Greenhill coaching staff as a head coach
back in 2004. Coach Lowry comes to Greenhill
following stints with the Dallas Tigers and Dallas
Mustangs. As head coach of the Tigers he led his
team to a Super Series national title and a 55-10
record. Curt was also the head coach of the 2006
Mickey Mantle National Championship team with the
then 16U DBAT. Coach Lowry is currently the head
coach of the 18U DBAT select team.
Coach Lowry
played at Paris High School in Paris, TX and helped
his team win the Texas State 4A championship in
1989. He was then drafted by the Cincinnati Reds as
an outfielder but chose to attend college. Coach
Lowry finished his college career at Mcneese State
University winning numerous all conference, all
regional and batting titles. He was then drafted in
the 1995 amateur draft in the twelfth round by the
San Diego Padres where he played professionally
until 1999.
