Greenhill varsity swimmers dominate the Greenhill Invitational Swim Meet!

All three mixed relay teams were victorious. In the 200 yard mixed medley relay Jack & Cassidy Beckwitt, Claire Brandt and Hunter Hayden set an invitational record with a blistering 1:47.48. The mixed 200 yard free relay team of Jack Beckwitt, Amanda Beare, Chelsey Sveinsson and Cole Sadler blew away second place Hockaday/St. Mark’s with a time of 1:42.71. The final relay race of the day saw Hunter Hayden, Cole Sadler, Cassidy Beckwitt and Claire Brandt easy win the mixed 400 yard free relay with a time of 3:39.57. 

Greenhill varsity swim records continued to fall with Claire Brandt winning the 200 free (1:57.00). Claire also won the 100 free in 53.3 and just missed Justin Lin’s varsity record in the 100 backstroke winning in a time of 59.60. Senior Jack Beckwitt  won the  100 breaststroke (1:01.22) and broke his own varsity record in the 100 butterfly (52.58). Junior Hunter Hayden coming back from shoulder injury and  swimming in his first individual races for Greenhill this season won the 50 and 100 freestyle events.
