Greenhill girls win the St. John's Relays
(03/05/05)
The Greenhill girls track and
field team won the 38th annual St. John's Relays in Houston
on Friday and Saturday. The Greenhill boys team finished
4th.
Greenhill girls highlights:
Toy Windham (So) set a meet
record in the 300 hurdles with a time of 46.65.
The 4x400 team won with a time
of 50.71 - setting a meet record.
The 4x100 won with a time of
50.71.
The 4x800 team placed second.
Sarah Gentsch (Jr) won the pole vault at 10'-0". Natalie
Jacobs (Jr) placed 4th at 9'-0"
Senior Cpt. Melanie Sharry was a member of the 4x400 team,
and placed second in the 300 hurldes (46.82) and 100 hurdles
(16.60).
