Students medal in volleyball at Junior Olympics

Tiffany Giraudon's volleyball team, Mad Frog 13's National, from Plano won 1st place in the 13's National Gold Division at the 2009 Junior Olympics in Miami Beach, Florida.  After winning their first ten matches against the best teams in the nation Mad Frog 13 won the Gold Championship against Asics MAVS from Kansas.  To see tournament brackets and results click here.

Additionally, Karina Rambeau's volleyball team, TAV 15 Molten, from Ft. Worth, Texas won the silver medal in the 15 American Division.  The team was undefeated when they reached the Championship Match on Saturday, July 3rd.  TAV 15 Molten lost in the finals to Vision from Northern California, thus winning the silver medal.  To see tournament brackets and results click here.
