Greenhill seniors sign
National Letters of Intent

(02/06/08) Five Greenhill seniors have committed to participate in college athletics next year. Hunter Jumper (University of Virginia), Molly Mack (Duke), and Ashley Rape (Duke) signed National Letters of Intent on Wed., Feb. 6 to play soccer, while Greg Lyons and Zachary Tobolowsky have committed to play baseball at Yale.

Hunter Jumper is a four-year letter winner and three-year captain for the Hornets in soccer, and has been selected twice to the all conference team for the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC). In 2006, Hunter helped lead Greenhill to its 15th Division I SPC soccer championship. Hunter has earned All-America honors, has played in the national youth championship final with the Solar soccer team, and has represented his country as a member of the under 19 national team. Hunter will look to guide the Greenhill boys’ soccer team to his third conference championship game as a Hornet at the SPC championships in Houston on Feb. 8-9.

Molly Mack and Ashley Rape have been instrumental in leading Greenhill to three straight Division I SPC championship soccer games, and have help guide the Hornets to the SPC titles the past two seasons. As team captains, the duo will help lead the Hornets to a third-straight Division I soccer championship trophy to finish their careers at Greenhill. Ashley has been named to the SPC all-conference team the past three years, while Molly was selected to the all-conference team following last year’s championship. Ashley has also been named Parade Magazine All America, NSCAA All-America, and to the Dallas Morning News all-area first team.

Greg Lyons and Zachary Tobolowsky are four-year letter winners as Greenhill Hornets, and are serving as team captains for their senior season. Zachary has earned SPC all-conference honors in his freshman, sophomore, and junior year campaigns. Greg holds a Greenhill record with 3 homeruns and 9 RBIs in one game, and has also struck out 15 batters in a single game.
