The
Greenhill boys volleyball team finished off a very

Division I berths in the SPC tournament.
In front of a capacity crowd in the
Trinity Valley gymnasium, the boys’ volleyball team

a team comprised of five seniors and four sophomores,
the Hornets opened the tournament with a 3-0 victory
over Houston Kinkaid and defeated Houston Episcopal in
three straight games in the second round. In addition to
the SPC title, the 2008 season brought head coach Keith
Nannie his 600th career win at Greenhill.

the SPC cross country race at Fort Worth Country Day.
The boys and girls teams both earned SPC runner-up
honors, as the boys finished just 2 points behind the
leader. Five Greenhill runners finished in the top 30 in
both the boys’ and girls’ championship races, which
included 165 participants in the boys’ division and 128
in the girls’ division. In addition to Sveinsson and
