BUTTERFLY GARDEN
The butterfly garden is just outside the pre-school. Lower School Science Teacher Cathleen Garcia and her Earth Keepers’ class, with the help of Greenhill parents, planted this native Texas plant butterfly garden in 2007. Butterflies were active from spring through fall and children were able to see butterflies in all their life stages. Teach your children about “biophilia—the connections that human beings subconsciously seek with the rest of life.”
