Dashing to Victory

By Stephanie Fishman, Asst, Business Manager

When it all came down to the 4X400 meter relay to conclude the 2007 season, the girls’ track and field team was only ahead by 1.5 points in the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) championship. They would have to outrun Kinkaid to defend the Hornets’ championship title. In a time of 3:57.26, the relay team of sophomore Andrea Rahardja, and seniors Meera Krishna, Joi’ Windham, and Toi’ Windham won the race at a conference record-setting pace and helped the team earn its sixth championship in the past seven years.read more
