Bangles & Beads
with Jelcy Romberg

Learn the basic techniques of beaded jewelry-making and working with wire. In our first class, you will learn basic stringing and planning of a necklace; then, you will create it. You’ll be able to take home your necklace (perhaps a perfect Valentine’s gift?) at the end of the evening. In our second class, we’ll work with small beads and make a lovely yet simple bracelet. In our third session, we’ll branch out and use our imaginations to make timeless and fun-to-wear beaded wire cuff bracelets that can be designed for either men or women. For our final session, we’ll work with silver wire that has been made into jump rings and create a chain bracelet perfect for charms!

Sessions: Five, 180-minute meetings
When: Tuesdays, February 10 & 24; March 3 & 10
Time: 6:30-9:30 pm
Tuition: $260, if postmarked by 12/12/08; $310, if postmarked by 1/19/09
